I’m going to publish a post today.
Why am I doing this?
- I’m blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal, because my journal entries are becoming shorter, to the point of three sentences. I need a sense of audience to write more and write better. And it’d be nice to make some connections.
- I’ll write about my favourite things – walking, my dog, gardening, beaches, fireplaces and travelling. I’ll write about the self-care and Stoicism I try to practice to maintain good health. I’ll write about where I live (Edinburgh) and where I want to live (the Highlands).
- I would love to connect with others who also write personal online journal blogs.
- If I blog successfully throughout the next year, I’ll have accomplished a better quality journaling style, gained courage through sharing publicly and, hopefully, found a few like-minded friends.
I’ll try to take and upload at least one photo most days. Tango is my featured image and here’s a quick snap of sunset over Leith, right now…
And now, I’m writing my journal, in the new form of a blog. Happy days!
